The remote control has 4 functions:
Turning on the Ninebot
Locking and unlocking
Speed Limit On / Off
Operation of the information display
Locking the Ninebot is used to prevent unauthorised use. When locked, the Ninebot locks the wheels and outputs both visual and audible warnings if it is moved. Note that the remote control is necessary for unlocking the Ninebot.
The speed limit is disabled by default. If activated through the remote control, the Ninebot limits even at lower speeds. Through the use of the smartphone app, the desired speed limit can be set precisely.
The free smartphone app “Ninedroid” is in the Google Play Store and in the Apple App Store. In principle, the app is intended for smartphone use, but can also be installed on most tablets.
The pairing of Ninebots with a Smartphone is simple:
Ninebot E: Using the supplied remote control the Bluetooth mode can be achieved by pressing the “Geschwindigskeitslimit” activate and deactivate button. At the same time this must also be activated with your smartphone’s bluetooth. Start the app and click ‘Ninebot Ninedroid’. The range of the Bluetooth mode and remote control is up to 20 meters.
Ninebot ONE: Bluetooth is enabled by default. Simply start and join the Ninedroid App.
The settings around the lights, sounds, and use can be individually adapted.
In addition, you can use the app to update a Ninebot. When a new firmware version for the Ninebot is available, it can be updated for free via Bluetooth in conjunction with the app.
The duration of the warranty for the Ninebot in UK amounts to two years. This requires, however, that the equipment was bought through us or one of our authorised dealers/distributors.

The steering column of Ninebots can be removed without tools, thereby easy transportability is given.
The dimensions of the Ninebots (no steering column) are 40 cm x 60 cm x 40 cm (L x W x H). This corresponds to approximately the size of two beer or beverage crates.
We know from experience that the Ninebot and the large handlebar easily fit into the trunk of smaller cars such as a Volkswagen Polo or VW Golf.
Unfortunately we do not offer free borrowing of a Ninebot, but you can rent or hire out a Ninebot E here.

In principle, the operation and the feeling of movement depends on the model. Before the first trip you have to familiarize yourself with the proper use and the operating instructions should be carefully considered.
Driving the Ninebot E can be learned in a short time and is relatively simple. Average first-time users will need about 5 – 10 minutes for the acclimatization.
The Ninebot ONE other hand requires a lot of practice and skill to ride safely. Here, the smaller and lighter the person, the easier is the riding. Average first-time users often need several hours for learning.
The Ninebot Mini Pro is also relatively straightforward, average first-time users will need about 10-15 minutes to get used to the unit and ride confidently.
